Once upon a time I had a session hanging w/o entry in v$session.
Somehow I found the process id and killed it from OS.

ORA-01940: cannot drop a user that is currently connected
I get this error on Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 but cannot see any sessions for the user.
I have rerun the drop, but now it just hangs.
Anything I can do but bounce the database?
